- No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using...

- At the 2012 SEMA Show, Chevrolet unveiled its 2012 COPO convertible, which just fetched a nice $400,000 towards charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Only two COPO Camaro convertibles exist, with the other one residing at the GM Heritage Center, which means it won’t be sold anytime soon. This particular unit is powered... more
- Back at the 2012 SEMA event in Las Vegas, Chevrolet unveiled the car you see above, a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro COPO Convertible. Actually, that's not quite accurate - this car is THE 2012 Chevrolet Camaro COPO Convertible. As in, the only one ever sold. There was one more produced, but it's not leaving the GM Heritage Center any time soon. This one was just sold at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale for $400,000 exactly. That sum will be donated to the American Heart Association, and the winner will...

- Chevrolet cars aren’t exactly a hit over in Japan, and based on the brand’s Tokyo Auto Salon presence, it’s not hard to see why. Regardless, Chevy is at the major aftermarket expo looking to promote the bowtie-brand with three models styled like SEMA Show rejects. Looking to cover all its bases, Chevrolet brought along a... more

- This week brought us the legendary SEMA Show, and of course all the news that came from Sin City included hot photos of modified cars--things as wild as a 500-horsepower Volkswagen Beetle, or a new twin-turbo Ford Mustang Cobra Jet. Also revealed at SEMA this week is a real life Hot Wheels car in the form of the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels...
- This Monster 4x4 Is A Terrible Waste Of A 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SEMA brings many brilliant projects out of the woodwork every year, but it also produces a few abominations. This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle monster 4x4 is one of them. These are nice cars in car form, and this frankenterror leaves me wondering if the mad scientist behind it can please put the poor thing back on its rightful rear wheel drive frame. Maybe I’m narrow minded, but I’ve never really understood turning things that were...
- This Mid-’60s Cadillac Coupe Is SEMA Hotness What a beautiful way to show off a pre-Malaise Cadillac’s broad expanses of sheet metal. Stripped down to bare metal, it gleams in a way that the most brilliant GM colors never could. To be honest, though, the loose wire brushing could have been done better. Cadillacs of this era are icons of the zenith of American capitalistic glory. They demand order. As such, a neat pattern of Spirit of St. Louis-esque swirls would have been more appropriate for...

- NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is known as "Smoke" to many, and the custom Camaro ZL1 he helped create for SEMA reflects his sometimes mysterious personality. Chevy design manager Dave Ross worked with Stewart to come up with not only the flat red and silver tribal theme, but the custom gray-metallic paint and the red-haloed headlights, as well. The interior gets seats embroidered with Tony Stewart signatures, suede door panels, French-stitched black leather armrests and piano black trim plates...
- The SEMA show in Las Vegas is crawling with celebrities from various parts of the auto universe, but few draw a larger crowd than hot-rodder/designer/TV personality Chip Foose.
