Buick has tweaked and pinched its largest vehicle to the point that, had we not been following the evolution of the brand’s design language on other new models, it looks unrecognizable from its predecessor. Not only does the 2018 Buick Enclave receive a brand new front fascia, but it also features a squared-off new body and a more refined interior.
Powering the Buick along, the eight-speed automatic transmission is smooth. With 310 hp on tap, the 3.6-liter V6 is far from sluggish, but it isn’t exactly tuned to be a sports car. Throttle response is linear, with a light pedal, and gets you away from traffic lights with ease.
General Motors today reported May U. S. retail sales of 191,388 vehicles, up slightly from last year.
